I love oranges… and this hybrid tree has grown in my backyard for a long time, but I have never eaten an orange off of it. Isn’t that strange? I don’t know why. I guess I think they’re bitter, but I’ve never tried them. Pretty pathetic. What’s the big deal? Pick one, cut it open, give it a try and if it’s no good, toss it… right? Even when I was contemplating this situation as I was taking the picture this afternoon, I still refused to pick one. Weird. I guess I have a phobia.
