We attended the final event for CCHS Football for the 2009 season.  Tonight was the banquet where all of the athletes were congratulated and honored.  The support staff, parents, coaches and volunteers thanked and everyone had a chance to reconnect.  Since our last “official” get together was the end of a disappointing game, it was good to see everyone under better circumstances.  It’s hard to believe that this is Steel’s last football banquet.  We’ve attended so many over the years.  I’m thankful for the opportunity to recognize those outstanding athletes and to say one final word of thanks to the seniors.
