We have had lots and lots of rain the last few days, but today’s storm was a whopper.  The rain was steady, but the difference was the high winds.  Our electricity went out at home last night (briefly) and twice at work today sending our phone and internet systems on the blink.  This puddle of standing water is on the dirt road that leads to my house and tells you just how much rain we’ve had.  It’s so deep I think I could grab a rod and reel and cast a line.
