I took my car in for service this morning so they could finally fix my slow leaky tire. Once I had it in the service drive, they told me they didn’t fix tires, but they would check all of them and let me know which one was low and reset the warning light. I went to my office and got started on my work. A few minutes later, I was paged to the service drive. When I got there, they had the hood popped open and everyone was staring at my battery. I didn’t know it looked like that (obviously) or what had caused all of the corrosion. Everyone around said they had never seen worse corrosion on a battery that was still operating.
Now I’m known as “Battery Girl” around the dealership.
